Source: ridebikesdrinkbeergetawesomeMy grandfather worked for Sears Roebuck his entire life. As a result the basement of my grandparents house was wall papered with a wall paper made by Sears Roebuck. The wall paper was various ads that appeared in the Sears Roebuck catalogs.
Whenever I visited I would spend hours combing over the wall paper looking and imagining what it would be like to wear sweet ass top hats, or smoke a pipe. But the image that was the most interesting to me were the bikes they offered. For some reason they just looked cooler than the bikes I saw people riding. Above you will see some of those images. Take a look at the images and enjoy the simplicity of a fixed gear/single speed bike…..and also that weird one that you can ride on a train track!!! How fucking awesome is that shit!!!!!?!?!?!?!?
